Arts Fest

We went to the Arts Fest yesterday. We being me, Joshua and his g/f, Raven, Matt and his g/f, Destiny and Adam. A lot of people were there because the weather was so nice.
I had to have my annual Indian taco, so me and Adam shared one. Then we shared a slice of chocolate dipped cheesecake. After having a full stomach, me and Adam wandered around looking at some of the artwork and sculpture. The highest priced artwork that I saw was $55,000. It was a metal sculpture of a life sized Braham bull.
My favorite artwork was an abstract of a tomato with purple devil horns. I told Adam since I don't like tomatoes, I was right; tomatoes ARE evil!!
We also listened to some Latin music by the Crystal Bridge. There was a band called the Latin Trio, and they were sisters. The music was really good and I really enjoyed the woman who played the flute.
After spending a few hours downtown and getting sunburnt it was time to leave. It was a fun day.

Adam

Adam spent the weekend with me. I picked him Friday afternoon when I got off work. I told him to bring his fishing pole since there is a lake where I live. This way he would have something to do while he stayed with me. While he fished, I read and fed the ducks and geese. Adam likes to come over here, it's less stress for him while he is here and we do things together. On Saturday, we went shopping at Walmart; I only meant to get one thing but ended up buying more than I need. Since I had to be at work at 4 a.m. this morning, I had Joshua take Adam back home. This way Josh can spend a little bit of time with Adam too.

sunday

i don't even feel like using caps. i'm worn out from today. i had to be at work at 4.a.m, then in the afternoon, me, my mom and joshua went to tinker to buy groceries at the commissary. the entire time i was gone from home, i couldn't stop stressing over getting my paper done and uploading it. tonight i finally got started on it, and the electricity went out. i went to my friend, kevin, and he had a laptop i could use. (his laptop was a pain in the ass to figure out).
BUT i didn't save my work on my flash drive. so i thought i was really screwed by then. anyway, i came back home, the lights were all on again, and i finished my paper and this blog. and now i'm going to bed.

weekend

I caught a bad cold Friday afternoon. I feel fine, except for my nose getting red and raw, and the constant sneezing.
I'm also working on my essay for my literary class, and I have another paper to do for my Shakespeare class. On top of that, I need to finish reading Frankenstein which is what I'm going to do after I log this blog.

blogs and essays

I want to know why my blogs are posting backwards. Why are the newer postings at the top and the older postings at the bottom. Is this how it's supposed to work?

I finished my first essay for this class. I hope I do well on it.

work

I painted at my job today. It was relaxed and fun. Now the real work starts: homework!!!

What I did on Spring Break

I didn't do much of anything except work, spend time with my family, and shopping.
